The slice of watermelon has seeds painted on so realistically that my toddler keeps trying to pick them off. Everything feels solid and smooth, and the banana is a good size for little hands to grab during our pretend grocery trips.
The watermelon slice is the first thing my daughter grabs every time, and she loves that the pieces are chunky enough for her small hands to hold. The cherry is tiny, so I do keep an eye on it, but the whole crate has held up to daily play.
