The two wooden balls inside clack together so satisfyingly that my daughter shakes it nonstop during tummy time. The kitten painting is sweet without being babyish, and it's held up fine after a few drops on the floor.
My 7-month-old grabs this thing the second I set it down, mainly because of the two wooden balls knocking around inside. The rattle sound is soft enough that it doesn't drive me crazy on car rides, and the wood feels smooth with no rough edges.
The kitten motif on the side is what caught my eye, but the two wooden balls rattling inside are what keep my daughter entertained. It's light enough for her to shake on her own, and the sound isn't annoying like some plastic toys.
