The lift-up lid on the side is the best part, my daughter squeals every time she finds the eggs hiding in there. The little chick fits perfectly in her hand too.

My two-year-old spends ages putting the hen and chick to bed in the little house, then hunting for the eggs under the lid. The wooden pieces are chunky enough for small hands, and the cockerel survives being carried around all day.

The lift-up lid on the side is genius — my daughter hides the eggs under it and then acts surprised every single time she finds them. The cockerel, hen and chick are all chunky enough for small hands to grab.
