Houten bakkerijkist

My toddler has been carrying this wooden bakery basket around all day pretending to sell me pastries. The baguette and croissant are perfectly sized for little hands and the paint looks like it'll hold up to some serious play.

The croissant has such a realistic shape that my daughter insists on "baking" it in her play oven. Each piece is smoothly sanded with no rough edges, which is great for little hands. She loves sorting the different bread types into her toy shopping bags.

My toddler has been serving me pretend croissants and pain au chocolat every morning for a week now, and the little wooden crate makes it feel like a real bakery run. The baguette and the two burger buns are a nice touch too, so there's enough for both of us to "order.
