Avery ★★★★★

My 18-month-old figured out the shape posting within a day, but the solid-wood animals keep her busy way longer than the plastic toys she got bored of. Having cut-outs on all four faces means she can sit on any side of it and still play.

The removable lid is the surprise hit here—my daughter carries it around like a little tray and then dumps the animals back in. Solid wood, no splinters after two months of daily abuse.

Eva O. ★★★★★

The solid-wood animals have a nice weight to them, so my toddler actually has to think about which way to turn each piece instead of just shoving it through. Having shapes on all four sides plus the lid means she can keep playing no matter which way the cube ends up.
