My son spends ages driving cars up the printed road baseboard and parking them at the pumps before sending them to the top. The lift mechanism has held up fine after weeks of daily play, and the wood feels solid rather than cheap.
The working lift is the star of this set — my son raises and lowers cars for a solid twenty minutes before he even touches the pumps. The printed road baseboard is a nice touch too, it keeps everything contained instead of scattered across the floor.
My 4-year-old spends ages cranking cars up the ramp and parking them at the pumps, which is way more than I expected from a wooden set. The printed road baseboard ties it together nicely so it doesn't just look like loose blocks on the floor.
